The Controllable Solid on the Supra Platform

About the Supra Sport

The Motiv Supra Sport brings the decorated Supra line's premium control to a solid cover. It keeps the same symmetric Quadfire Core as the Supra Clutch and pairs it with a medium-friction solid, so it reads a touch earlier and grabs a touch more oil while keeping the smooth, controllable motion the Supra family is known for. Like all of Motiv's high-performance equipment, it is made in the U.S.A.

The Supra Sport pairs that Quadfire Core with Motiv's Leverage MFS Solid Reactive coverstock at a 4000-grit LSS finish. Where the Supra Clutch clears the fronts with a polished hybrid, the Sport's medium-friction solid reads the midlane earlier for a stronger, controllable shape on light to medium oil.

Understanding the Motiv Quadfire Core and Motiv Leverage MFS Solid Reactive

Motiv built the Supra Sport for controllable traction. Specifically, the symmetric Quadfire Core has a higher RG and a moderate differential, so it reads smoothly and predictably, while the Leverage MFS (Medium Friction Solid) cover at a 4000-grit finish grabs the midlane earlier than the Clutch's hybrid for more traction. As a result, it gives you the Supra line's smooth control with a stronger, earlier read. The full per-weight specifications are listed below.

A Higher-RG Symmetric Core for Smooth, Controllable Motion

At the heart of the Supra Sport is the symmetric Quadfire Core, the same control-oriented weight block as the Supra Clutch. At 15 lb it measures RG 2.55 and a .043 differential, numbers that produce a smooth, controllable motion with medium flare. The higher RG reads the lane evenly, while the symmetric design keeps the reaction predictable and repeatable.

On the Supra Sport, that smooth core is paired with a solid cover, so its controllable shape now reads a little earlier and grabs a little more oil. As a symmetric core, the Quadfire reads the lane the same way shot after shot, giving you a dependable, continuous reaction that rewards accuracy.

A Medium-Friction Solid for an Earlier, Controllable Read

The Supra Sport wraps that core in Motiv's Leverage MFS Solid Reactive coverstock at a 4000-grit LSS finish. MFS stands for Medium Friction Solid: it grabs the midlane for real traction in a controllable, continuous way, and the clean 4000-grit surface keeps the read smooth and even.

That earlier, stronger read is what separates the Supra Sport from the polished Supra Clutch. The solid cover digs in sooner, so the Sport is the choice when light-to-medium lanes carry a touch more oil or you want a stronger, more controllable shape. Leave it at the 4000-grit box finish for a smooth, controlled read, or adjust the surface at your pro shop for more or less traction.
