About the KR Strikeforce Starr
The KR Strikeforce Starr is a women's performance bowling shoe with a true grip-to-glide split and an interchangeable slide pad and heel. A soft, durable microfiber upper rides on a light CMEVA outsole that keeps the shoe comfortable through long sessions.
A STA-DRY open mesh tongue and collar keeps things cool, the H-Bar heel locking system keeps your heel planted, and an Ortholite 3D Deluxe insole cushions every step.
How the KR Strikeforce Starr Slides
The KR Strikeforce Starr is a handed shoe with a true grip-to-glide split: one foot slides, one foot grips, the setup serious bowlers need.
How the Slide System Works
This is a handed performance shoe, set up for a right-handed bowler. Your slide foot is the one opposite your bowling hand, so a right-handed bowler slides on the left foot. Out of the box the left (slide) shoe carries a genuine Clarino #8 white microfiber slide pad and a #5 graduated rubber heel for a long, controlled glide.
The right (push-off) shoe is fixed with a fixed rubber push-off sole and a #2 shark-tooth heel, so it grips the approach for a powerful, stable plant at the line.
Dialing In Your Slide
The slide pad and heel on the slide foot are interchangeable, so you can fine-tune your glide at your pro shop as the lanes change or your game develops. Replacement pads and heels are sold separately; the shoe ships with the #8 pad and #5 heel installed.
A soft, durable microfiber upper on a light CMEVA outsole keeps the Starr comfortable, while the STA-DRY mesh tongue and collar, H-Bar heel lock, and Ortholite 3D Deluxe insole handle cooling, hold, and cushioning.
