Description (merchant text, shortened)

The Spheroid Core With Clean Length and a Strong Backend

About the Hammerhead Pearl

The Hammer Hammerhead Pearl takes the strong Spheroid core and adds length and a stronger backend. It pairs the symmetric Spheroid Core with the Aggression Pearl coverstock at a polished finish, so it gets down the lane cleaner than the solid Hammerhead and finishes with a strong, controllable move on medium oil and transition.

The Hammerhead Pearl is the length-and-angle complement to the solid. The pearl cover conserves energy through the heads, while the symmetric Spheroid core keeps the motion smooth and controllable. The result is more downlane shape than the solid without the sharp, hard-to-read flip of an asymmetric, exactly what you want as the lane transitions.

Understanding the Hammer Spheroid Core and Hammer Aggression Pearl Reactive

Hammer built the Hammerhead Pearl for clean length and a strong backend from the Spheroid core. Specifically, the symmetric Spheroid Core posts a 2.481 RG and a strong .048 differential for an early roll with high flare, while the Aggression Pearl cover at a 1500-grit polish reads later than the solid and saves energy for a defined move down lane. As a result, it gives you length with a strong, controllable backend on medium oil and transition. The per-weight specifications are listed below.

A Strong Symmetric Core, Shared With the Hammerhead

At the heart of the Hammerhead Pearl is the same symmetric Spheroid Core used in the solid Hammerhead. At 15 lb it measures a 2.481 RG and a strong .048 differential, numbers that produce an early roll with high flare for a symmetric ball. The strong differential gives it real hooking strength while the symmetric design keeps the reaction predictable.

Pairing that strong core with a pearl cover is what changes the personality: the same smooth, predictable roll as the solid Hammerhead, but with the energy held later for more length and a stronger backend.

A Polished Pearl Cover for Length and a Defined Backend

The Hammerhead Pearl wraps that core in Hammer's Aggression Pearl Reactive coverstock at a 1500-grit polish. The pearl additive and polished surface let the ball conserve energy through the front of the lane, so it gets down cleaner than the solid Hammerhead and then makes a stronger, more defined move off the friction.

That clean read and strong backend make the Hammerhead Pearl the natural step from the solid: when the solid starts reading early on a drying lane, the pearl pushes through the heads and saves its energy for the pins. Leave it polished for length, or take the surface down at your pro shop for an earlier, smoother read on more oil.
