The Epic Apollo Dial Comfort in Royal White brings the premium kangaroo-leather Apollo experience at a more accessible price. It pairs a kangaroo upper with a single Epic Dial closure and an interchangeable slide sole and heel, so you get the materials and the fit of the flagship in a ready-to-bowl package.
It arrives complete with the shoes, one slide sole and one heel installed and ready, and one slide-foot shoe cover. When you want more options, the slide soles and heels are interchangeable, so you can add to your kit over time.
How the Epic Apollo Dial Comfort Slides
Your slide foot is the one opposite your bowling hand, so as a right-handed bowler you slide on your left foot and push off with your right. The Apollo puts the interchangeable slide sole and heel on that left foot for a controlled glide to the line, and a non-marking rubber push-off sole with a reinforced toe cap on the right foot for a stable, powerful plant.
Interchangeable Slide Sole and Heel
The Royal White Apollo ships with one slide sole and one heel installed and ready to bowl. When the approach changes, the slide sole and heel pop off and swap in about a minute, so you can run more glide on a sticky house floor or more grip on a slick tournament pattern.
The pads are cross-brand compatible, with a little trimming if needed, so the Apollo works with the slide pads you already own and lets you build out your kit at your own pace.
Kangaroo Leather and Dial Closure
The Apollo upper is premium kangaroo leather. Kangaroo leather is about ten times stronger than cowhide and 50% stronger than goatskin while weighing less, so the upper holds its shape and fit through the repeated stress of your approach and stays comfortable over a long block.
The single Epic Dial closure micro-adjusts to an even, precise hold with one twist, no laces to retie. A full mesh lining wicks heat and moisture, the collar and tongue are padded for support, and a reinforced non-marking toe cap stands up to the drag wear of the finish.

To Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Guam bowling balls ship for $24.95 per ball, most other items free; oversized roller bags cost extra there.
