Description (merchant text)
KR Strikeforce Abralon Pad 1000 Grit is a medium-fine sanding pad used to adjust your bowling ball’s surface texture. At 1000 grit, this pad creates fine surface texture. Pushes the ball further down the lane before it begins to hook. Cleaner through the front with a more angular backend move compared to lower grits.

What 1000 Grit Does to Ball Reaction
Medium oil conditions, transitioning lanes, and bowlers who want more length without going fully polished.
Pro Tip: 1000 grit is a popular choice for league bowlers who want their ball to get down the lane before making its move. It’s the sweet spot between surface and polish for many house shots.
Our Take: Abralon pads are the industry standard for bowling ball surface adjustment. They’re what most pro shops use, and they’re just as easy to use at home. Wet the pad, spin the ball, and you’ve got a consistent, repeatable surface every time. Every serious bowler should keep a set in their bag.
