The 3G Ascent is a lightweight, athletic bowling shoe built for league bowlers who want a real, consistent slide in a shoe that looks and feels like a modern sneaker. It pairs an authentic microfiber slide sole with 3G's Rise outsole for a smooth glide and easy leverage at the line.
This is the Ascent Black colorway, a right-handed athletic shoe with a Fly Kit upper with 3D molded ribbing.
How the 3G Ascent Slides
Your slide foot is the one opposite your bowling hand, so as a right-handed bowler you slide on your left foot and push off with your right. The 3G Ascent has a fixed authentic Clarino microfiber slide sole on the slide foot for a consistent glide, and a durable rubber sole with a 3G grooved heel on the push foot for maximum leverage.
The Fixed Slide Sole and Push-Off
The authentic Clarino microfiber slide sole gives you a controlled, consistent glide right out of the box, with nothing to swap or adjust so your slide reads the same every time you lace up.
On the push foot, the durable rubber sole and 3G grooved heel grip the approach for maximum leverage into the shot. A molded heel stabilizer keeps the plant steady.
The Upper and Outsole
The lightweight a Fly Kit upper with 3D molded ribbing keeps the 3G Ascent breathable and flexible through a long block.
The Rise outsole, a lightweight blown rubber, keeps the whole shoe light and responsive on the approach.
