## Description (merchant text, shortened)
Scented, Easy-Length Entry Performance

About the Tropical Surge

Storm's Tropical line has always been about two things: fun and performance you can feel and smell. The Storm Tropical Surge carries that tradition with a scented coverstock and an entry-level performance reaction, available in a wide range of vibrant colorways, each with its own signature Storm fragrance.

The Tropical Surge pairs the symmetric Surge Core with Storm's Reactor Pearl Reactive coverstock at a Power Edge polish. The result is clean, controllable length with a smooth, low-flare motion, an easy and predictable ball for dry to light-medium oil that is as fun to throw as it is to smell.

Understanding the Storm Surge Core and Storm Reactor Pearl Reactive

Storm built the Tropical Surge for easy, controllable length at an entry-performance price. Specifically, the symmetric Surge Core has a high RG and a low differential, so the ball pushes through the front of the lane with low flare and a smooth, predictable motion, while the Reactor Pearl cover at a Power Edge polish conserves energy for a clean finish. As a result, it is an approachable, forgiving reactive option for dry to light-medium conditions. The full per-weight specifications are listed below.

A High-RG Symmetric Core for Smooth, Low-Flare Length

At the heart of the Tropical Surge is the symmetric Surge Core. At 15 lb it measures a higher RG of 2.58 with a low .024 differential, numbers that produce length and a smooth, low-flare, controllable motion. The high RG helps the ball get down the lane, while the low differential keeps the reaction easy and predictable rather than sharp.

That smooth, forgiving shape is what makes the Tropical Surge so approachable. It is an easy ball to control whether you are a newer bowler stepping into reactive equipment or an experienced player who wants a clean, low-flare look on drier lanes. As a symmetric core, it reads the lane the same way shot after shot.

A Scented Pearl Cover for Clean, Controllable Length

The Tropical Surge wraps that core in Storm's Reactor Pearl Reactive coverstock, finished at Power Edge polish. The pearl additive and polished surface conserve energy through the front of the lane, so the ball pushes cleanly through the heads and makes a smooth, controllable move at the breakpoint, ideal for dry to light-medium oil.

True to the Tropical line, the cover is scented: each colorway carries its own signature Storm fragrance, so the Tropical Surge is as fun to throw as it is to smell. Leave it polished for the cleanest length, or take the surface down at your pro shop for an earlier read when there is a bit more oil.
