## Description (merchant text, shortened)
The Pearl Complement to an Icon

About the Phaze 2 Pearl

Bowlers have been asking for a pearl version of Storm's most iconic symmetric ball for years, and the Storm Phaze 2 Pearl finally delivers. It keeps the legendary Velocity Core that made the Phaze II a benchmark, then wraps it in a pearl cover for a cleaner, more angular look down the lane.

The Phaze 2 Pearl pairs that symmetric Velocity Core with the TX-25 Pearl Reactive coverstock at a Power Edge polish. Where the solid Phaze II reads the mid-lane early and strong, the Pearl conserves energy through the front of the lane and saves it for a sharper move at the breakpoint, the long-awaited length-and-angle complement to the original.

Understanding the Storm Velocity Core and Storm TX-25 Pearl Reactive

Storm built the Phaze 2 Pearl for strength with more length. Specifically, the symmetric Velocity Core delivers the same strong, readable shape as the original Phaze II, while the TX-25 Pearl cover at a Power Edge polish conserves energy through the fronts and stores it for a more angular move down-lane. As a result, it clears the heads more easily than the solid Phaze II and finishes with more pop, which makes it the length option on the same proven core. The full per-weight specifications are listed below.

The Legendary Phaze II Core, Now in a Pearl

At the heart of the Phaze 2 Pearl is the symmetric Velocity Core, the same engine that made the original Phaze II a benchmark. At 15 lb it measures RG 2.48 and a strong .051 differential, numbers that produce heavy flare and a powerful but readable motion. As a symmetric core, it reads the lane predictably and repeats the same shape shot after shot.

On the Pearl, that strong core is paired with a cleaner cover, so the heavy flare comes with extra length and a sharper finish. You get the trusted Phaze II read with a more angular backend, the length-and-angle complement bowlers have been requesting for years.

A Polished Pearl for Clean Length and an Angular Backend

The Phaze 2 Pearl wraps that core in Storm's TX-25 Pearl Reactive coverstock at a Power Edge polish. The pearl additive and polished surface conserve energy through the front of the lane, so the ball pushes cleanly through the heads, then makes a sharper, more angular move when it reaches the friction. It reads later and more pronounced than the sanded, solid Phaze II.

That length-and-angle shape is what makes the Pearl so useful as the lanes transition. When the solid Phaze II starts reading too early, the polished TX-25 gets the ball down the lane and still finishes with the strong backend the Velocity core supplies. Leave it polished for the most length and angle, or take the surface down at your pro shop for an earlier read when the oil increases.
