## Description (merchant text, shortened)
Ion Max Power in a Symmetric Package

About the Bionic

The Storm Ion Max became one of the most popular high-performance balls in the lineup, and the Storm Bionic is its symmetric evolution. It is the next ball in the Ion line, engineered as the ultimate symmetric solution, an all-encompassing piece capable of handling virtually any lane condition with predictable, versatile performance.

The Bionic pairs the symmetric Torsion A.I. Core with the versatile NRG Hybrid Reactive coverstock at a 4000-grit finish. The Torsion core preserves the stacked-ellipse structure of the Ion Max's Element Max core but revolves it into a symmetric shape, balancing low-RG stability with a clean, controlled backend, the Bionic Advantage you can trust shot after shot.

Understanding the Storm Torsion A.I. Core and Storm NRG Hybrid Reactive

Storm built the Bionic to bring Ion Max power to a symmetric, all-conditions ball. Specifically, the symmetric Torsion A.I. Core maintains the Element Max's stacked-ellipse design in a rotated symmetric shape, keeping low-RG stability while delivering a smooth, controllable arc, while the NRG Hybrid cover at a 4000-grit finish offers balanced traction with consistent backend across lane conditions. As a result, it gives bowlers a versatile, predictable reaction they can rely on. The full per-weight specifications are listed below.

A Symmetric, Rotated Stacked-Ellipse Core for Stability and Control

At the heart of the Bionic is the symmetric Torsion A.I. Core, an evolution of the Element Max core that powers the Ion Max. At 15 lb it measures RG 2.47 and a .050 differential, numbers that produce strong but controllable flare. Its symmetric, rotated stacked-ellipse design maintains low-RG stability while delivering a smooth, controllable arc, with center-heavy mass and a flip block working together to create the unmistakable Storm motion off the end of the lane.

That combination of stability and control is the Bionic's whole point. As a symmetric core, it reads the lane predictably and repeats the same shape shot after shot, giving you the Ion Max's strength in a more forgiving, all-conditions package. It is the kind of dependable read that inspires confidence in every shot.

A Versatile, Tunable Hybrid Cover for Any Condition

The Bionic wraps that core in Storm's NRG Hybrid Reactive coverstock at a 4000-grit finish. A hybrid cover blends the early traction of a solid with the cleaner backend of a pearl, and the NRG Hybrid offers balanced traction with easy surface adjustability, so you can dial in a smooth, predictable motion while keeping a consistent backend across lane conditions.
