Radical built the Hyper Control Cover (HC) to add a new dimension to the urethane-style ball motion many players want, while still absorbing oil like a reactive resin ball. That means it stays legal in all PBA and USBC events, but it reads the mid-lane with the kind of smooth, controllable roll bowlers look for from urethane.\n\nWhere a strong reactive piece can over-react in today's high-friction environment, the Intel Tour is meant to settle the lane down. The Modified Intel Symmetric core posts a low .032 differential at 15 lb for an even, predictable read, and the Hyper Control Solid cover keeps the motion smooth and forgiving rather than sharp. Radical positions it in the Reliable category as a control piece that belongs in every league and tournament bag.\n\nUnderstanding the Radical Modified Intel Symmetric Core and Radical Hyper Control Solid Reactive\n\nRadical built the Intel Tour for control in high-friction conditions. The symmetric Modified Intel core measures a 2.483 RG and a low .032 differential at 15 lb, numbers that produce an even, predictable read without excessive flare, while the new Hyper Control Solid cover at a 500, 1500 Siaair Micro Pad finish absorbs oil like a reactive ball and rolls through the mid-lane with a urethane-style smoothness. The result is a controllable, benchmark-friendly motion that calms down friction instead of jumping off it. The per-weight specifications are listed below.\n\nThe Intel Benchmark Core for an Even, Predictable Read\n\nAt the heart of the Intel Tour is the same symmetric Modified Intel core that made the original Intel a dependable benchmark ball. At 15 lb it measures a 2.483 RG and a low .032 differential, a combination that produces a smooth, even read with controlled flare rather than a sharp, angular move. The symmetric design keeps the motion consistent and easy to repeat, which is what makes a benchmark ball useful: it shows you the lane the same way shot after shot.\n\nThat lower differential is the key to the Intel Tour's identity. Less flare means a calmer, more controllable shape, so the ball reads the friction without over-reacting. Paired with the new Hyper Control cover, the Modified Intel core gives you a piece you can trust to tell you what the lane is doing before you reach for stronger or weaker equipment.\n\nA New Cover Built for Urethane-Style Control That Stays Tournament Legal\n\nWrapping the Modified Intel core is Radical's new Hyper Control Solid coverstock, finished at 500, 1500 with a Siaair Micro Pad. Radical's chemists developed the Hyper Control Cover (HC) to add a new dimension to the urethane ball motion many bowlers want in today's high-friction environment. It is not a urethane cover. It absorbs oil like a reactive resin ball, which keeps it legal in all PBA and USBC events, while delivering a smooth, urethane-style mid-lane roll.\n\nThat blend is what sets the Intel Tour apart from both a standard reactive ball and a true urethane piece. You get the oil absorption and read of resin with the controlled, settled motion players associate with urethane. Leave the 500, 1500 Siaair surface as it comes for the most control, or adjust it at your pro shop to fine-tune length when conditions change.\n\nIntel Tour Specs\n\nRG and differential vary by weight. Specifications provided by the manufacturer.\n\nWho This Ball Is Right For\n\n✓Tournament Players: A controllable, tournament-legal benchmark that reads the mid-lane smoothly when stronger equipment is too much\n\n✓League Bowlers: A dependable control piece for high-friction house shots, easy to repeat shot after shot\n\n✓Control and Spare-Minded Stylists: The low .032 differential keeps flare in check for an even, predictable shape down the lane\n\n✓Urethane Users Who Need Legality: Urethane-style control with reactive oil absorption that stays legal in all PBA and USBC events\n\nGood to Know Before You Buy\n\n·Control over raw hook: The lower differential means moderate total hook. For maximum board coverage on heavy oil, step up to stronger equipment.\n\n·Ships sanded for traction: The 500, 1500 Siaair Micro Pad finish is built to grip in oil. Polish it for more length when the volume drops.\n\n·Colors vary: Actual colors vary somewhat from the photos shown; no two balls come out of the mold exactly alike.\n\n·Tiny pit holes are normal: A few tiny pit holes in the coverstock are a normal part of the manufacturing process.\n\n·Sold undrilled: Ships without finger holes, so it can be fitted to your hand and span.\n\nBowlersMart Tips: Where the Intel Tour Fits in Your Radical Arsenal\n\nWhere It Fits in Your Arsenal\n\nIn the Radical lineup, the Intel Tour is the control and benchmark piece you reach for when the lanes get friendly and stronger equipment over-reacts. Throw a strong reactive ball like the Outer Limits on fresh, heavy oil, then move to the Intel Tour as the lane breaks down and you want a smoother, urethane-style read. When you need even more length and a cleaner backend, step to a pearl such as the Outer Limits Black Hole.\n\nSurface Adjustments\n\nThe 500, 1500 Siaair Micro Pad finish is a control setup out of the box. Take the surface up for a touch more length, or refresh the box finish to restore the controlled read. Have surface changes done at your pro shop for an even, consistent finish.\n\nCoverstock Care\n\nThe Hyper Control Solid cover absorbs oil like a reactive ball, so wiping the Intel Tour down after every set and deep cleaning it periodically keeps its smooth, controllable read consistent over the life of the ball.\n\nEarn points on every Radical purchase through the Striking Rewards loyalty program. Every ball you add to your arsenal builds toward your next reward.\n\nShop With Confidence at BowlersMart\n\nThe Intel Tour Bowling Ball ships free with no minimum purchase and is backed by our 60-day return policy.
